birthday

today is my birthday. yes I'm getting older... and its not a good news actually... think about grey hair and wrinkles... lol^^ but want to thank God above for the happy life I have, the best parents, a loving husband, couple of adorable kids, and a caring family...

what I like about birthday is the people you loved will be gathered and be around you to celebrate though they are busy:)

lately I had finished several favor orders, and this is one of my fave, belonged to a lady who celebrated her 35th birthday with her bffs.

hey its already 2015, ooops and end of january already!!! how time flies...

my life after my resignation is even busier than before, sometimes i even forgot what day's today.... but again i say i'm happy:)

I still did a lot of handmade orders while cooking, layouting, picking up from school, going grocery store, and bla bla bla home works... lol:)) lately I just make an instagram account, so i can make a quick update if i dont have time to make a post at blogger:) you can find me or kindly follow @toscaberries

I want to tell you about the new crush... It was last november i passed by the craft store nearby... they have beads, the looming tools, wire... thread... and what i interested most was the bead loom! I kept telling myself not to buy the bead loom, and decided to go home without it. But unfortunately i hold no longer, i just bought it last week, and already finished my first project:)

I used three colors of miyuki beads, gold, cobalt, and slate blue, and also made the pattern myself. one other reason for this liking is i can explore the pattern... thought I can get so many inspiration from the famous Indonesian native weaving pattern... cant wait to begin my second project and more:)

Actually I'm still making things... and I wish so much to share all of them here... buttt... baby S is so much attached to mommy and makes me have not much time to take picture of my handmades.

I want to share my latest sunvisor tissue case today, simplified a lot from the one I made before. This one is for myself, I love the fabric! both me and my hubby are pisces, now you know why, yes?

I have a wood bangle which is too big with flowers ornament that I don't like *forget to take the pic before I make over it to a necklace.

I only need to wrap the whole bangle with colourful yarn and... tadaaaa! here is my brand new necklace^^

wew, quite a long title:p hello hellow, it is end of year count down, and I want to finish all of my orders, so I can have my holiday without burden^^ this one is really fresh from the oven, make it yesterday and feel so proud and glad to see the result^^ a toscaberrian *yes, this is how I named my toscaberries' friends, want me to make a tissue case, and spesificly she want to put it at the sun visor. and here are the pics.

I want to make a confession here. I need hours! to finish this tissue box, lol:p so difficult because I never make this before... I start with pattern, thinking of how it will be a user friendly tissue case, cutting the fabric, this and that... and the last thing, sewing! since I'm an amateur, now you know why it takes hours:p but all paid with the result, me so sooo happy! hope you likey ditta! My friend asked me if i want to participate for kikulu foundation by making posy medallion. of course i do!:) here they are.

Hi All! I've been wanting to apologise for the lack of updates lately... I have a serious problem with my sleep time, I sleep a lot! fiuhhhh.... and it made ​​me unable to finish orders on weekdays.

it was last month when Yane from DAAI contact me via facebook. asked if I mind to share posy medallion DIY at the House and Living program. I am actually very nervous with the request, but eventually I went into the studio last week for taping. 

I went there alone with the things, and picked up by a friendly driver from DAAI tv. shorten the stories, all goes well..., I was greatly helped by the presence of Tiara, the host, she made me forgot to nervous:)

and... my anxiety is not over, now I'm waiting for the tape to be aired, at november 13th or 20th... surely it will be weird seeing me myself up on the screen:p

hi, how are you friends? I finally feel ready to post a longer story there...
I spent my last entire weekend at home because Ryu was having a high fever, it made me so worry, but felt better after taking him to the doctor. He slept a lot after that, and his mom turn out so productive since then^^

it was months ago my friend gave me her broken blue braided belt. I agree that the belt were too good to be thrown away... but I can not fix it... so I think I better use the blue yarns to create something new, after some knots here and there, and put on the clamshell stone, here is my brand new blue necklace, taraaaa!!! *I forgot taking pic of the belt:(

so... this is my latest private collection, I think I'll remake if someone ask me to... but for now I'll keep my first piece as always^^
