weekend project: house number

and again house number... after tried the one from wood... and then from clay, and now... fabric... the clay one was broken...

I thought the lizards must be playing hide n seek around my house number, then they came to kind of hysteria, hit here n there, and number seven can not longer hold on to the hanger, it fell and hit the floor, huhuww... and yes! I do blame the lizards! I'll wait and see how long this fabric one will last:p

weekend project: candle holder

yesterday I made this candle holder, it's an unused wire hanger before...  i used a pliers to get the shape, bending here and there, and.. hopplaaa!:) there's a special place to hang ornaments, which can be replaced in accordance with the occasions... hmm... i'm not so much celebrating the love day, i mean no special dinner or gifts or whatever sweet things, but... i love to see people's excitement welcoming feb, 14th, so... this time i hang a heart shape ornament made from felt, because soon we'll have valentines day:D

cushions

it was a very rainy weekend yesterday, spent my whole weekend at home, playing thomas the train with ryu:D I also finally took this picture. this is my upstair room, planned to make it workshop of mine, *amien... for now it's ryu's playroom, and i used to read there also. no other furnitures in but the sofa with lot of cushions:) the newest one is from dreamesh, it's really lovable! in love with the colour and the detail.

and the kindhearted mb amesh also sent me her rugs, yippieee, take a look! they all are good looking!

I've already used some of them, for french fries project, and for last triple posy:)

at the fasade

What is your house number made from? mine was used to be made from wood... till one day i found a very big family of ants lived happily inside. Since then I decided to make a new house number myself. Here it is, from clay, it's not as good as I want it to be, but still like it^_^:p

 

I have another story about insects:p The bamboo windchime is from a friend, I'll show you what it's like before...

 

mosquito is a friend of ant, right? me not likey both. with the help of acrylic, I covered all the mosquito parts, draw the leaves and flowers on. I think it looks better now:D
