wew, quite a long title:p hello hellow, it is end of year count down, and I want to finish all of my orders, so I can have my holiday without burden^^ this one is really fresh from the oven, make it yesterday and feel so proud and glad to see the result^^ a toscaberrian *yes, this is how I named my toscaberries' friends, want me to make a tissue case, and spesificly she want to put it at the sun visor. and here are the pics.

I want to make a confession here. I need hours! to finish this tissue box, lol:p so difficult because I never make this before... I start with pattern, thinking of how it will be a user friendly tissue case, cutting the fabric, this and that... and the last thing, sewing! since I'm an amateur, now you know why it takes hours:p but all paid with the result, me so sooo happy! hope you likey ditta! mom's birthday today, and I know she'll wish God to send her the only man she loved...
my daddy is mom's inspiration. yes, daddy is my inspiration too... but now, the topic is mom. She now lost her inspiration, no sophisticated dishes for lunch and dinner, no cookies and cakes for afternoon tea time too... and even no tea time now because she doesn't want to have it alone...
before, mom went to market almost everyday to buy fresh ingredients, she walked early in the morning before daddy's awaked, but then when she's done, my dad were always already there to pick her up home... now, mom goes to market infrequently, my auntie who lives nearby goes for her...
a lot of routines were gone along with daddy...  so what I want to give to mom is happiness and strenght to move on... wish you get your passion back one day... I love you mom! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! HUG!

the posies are requested by a friend who is a friend of kikulu's founder. the kikulu foundation is a nonprofit foundation supporting education for women and children based in texas. kikulu partners with various fair trade organizations and individual artists around the world, read more here. My friend asked me if i want to participate for kikulu foundation by making posy medallion. of course i do!:) here they are.

where am I these three months??? I was home and kind of busy with the new comer of the family!!! let me introduce baby Shelma Deandra Mulia:) born on the 11th july 2012, she is 3 months old today. thank you Lord for trusting us to take care of her.

those pinky polkadot things are rewrapped chocolate bars, we gave them to the families and friends to share our happiness. oh, I also made several things when I was home this past three months, and I'll post them soon:)

cylinder pouch favor

heloww march! my special month!:) start with this special post on my blog. It was october when Dian email me asking if I do take orders for wedding souvenirs. my first question was the quantities... and dian asked for hundreds. shorten the story finally I do take the orders. 850 cylinder pouches finished and delivered in middle of february, fiuuhhh...

 

I didn't make them all by myself, my friend an owner of a mini sewing workshop and staffs help me make this project happen:) thank you so much Mr. Jim!!!

Dian and Yudha will have their big day tomorrow, congratulation to both of youuu! Toscaberries is so happy being part of your wedding day:)
oh, one more thing, I likey so much the thank you card and also Dian and Yudha's wedding invitation, and I just found out that the beautiful illustration was by cecilia hidayat! cecil is soooo talented!

tank top make over

hai hai haiii... this is the latest project for NOVA, I made a simple gown for girls, you only need a tank top, a piece of cotton fabric, then sew them together^^ also made a simple orange bag from tank top too, I added lace on to get girly mood.
what's special from this project was the photo session, the girl, fiqah, is sooo lovable!

of being a winner...

haiii! finally... my first post in this new year!:p this is not related to craft thing, this is about me! the first winneeeeer!!! I won the first prize of Gramedia Majalah Blog Award 2011!!!
it was 3 months ago when my office held the competition, and I didn't want to join at first because I think my blog is a craft blog, how could I compete with those journalist blog, but... hmm... why not??? then I sent the form:) I have to write on the form the reason why I deserve to be the winner, and I write a lot about passion.
the announcement happened last thursday, and still the same excitement everytime i remember the moment, I shouted loudly "it is toscaberries!" when I saw my blog on the screen while the host declare the best blog, I was holding my friend's hand, and almost jumping... hahaha, people there turning to me, and I was very sure my cheek blushing sooo much!:p
I still cant believe it... but I'm very excited with all the feelings inside!!! it is a very unforgetable moment for myself, and maybe will not happen for the second times, so let me feel deeply this euphoria:p

when i'm back to my cubicle that day, my lovely office mates welcome me with confetti, and they were dancing in their mask while yelling happily, thankyu sistas, you're all cute, wakakaka 'lol'
